Investment Thesis
We focus on a few golden rules that can spark our interest with these investments:
People: Founders with subject area expertise in their respective industry. Ideally, a track record with a successful exit. We look for a management team that is best fitted to solve the problem, guide a company in their current stage and ready to implement a strategy for fast growth.
Problem: Large TAM with sustainable growth opportunities. Our focus is businesses with great network effects (for example, the more users the stronger the network).
Go-to-Market/Progress: Long-term customer value (LTV) to Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) ratio of 3. Profitability within sight over the next 12 to 18 months. A good marketing strategy with quantifiable metrics and visible customer acquisition progress going forward.
Valuation/Price: The right valuation based on comps, free cash flow projections, intellectual property, among others. We love working with founders that understand the importance of adjusting valuations according to market dynamics.
